Connstance J. Berry

Even as a small child I was always drawing and sketching. I loved color and form. In school I took many art classes, costume design classes, and other forms of study of the arts. I attended Canada College in Redwood City and completed two years of interior design and architectural design. This was after I had completed college at the University of Pacific, with a degree in Art History and a minor in Art.

During my years living in Marin County I studied with Troy Ruddick, a well known artist, who taught the art of the palette knife in oils. While living in Marin, I participated in many shows at the Marin Society of Art, and sold and rented my paintings.

When I moved to Bend, Oregon, I taught several groups at night school, in the local school district, to learn to paint with palette knife in oils. While living there, I exhibited at the Bend Studio for the Arts, and sold many of my paintings. My work has been sold and shown at Plaza Arts in Healdsburg, and Valley Arts in Napa.

My work has been displayed and sold at many shows, in Sonoma, (art on the Plaza, etc).
I am currently studying with Shirley Roberts in Sonoma, who is an artist of renown, and who owns and operates an art gallery in Windsor, California .
